Carel has been an integral part of the R&R team since joining in 2011 as an Application Engineer. Over the years, he has provided exceptional on-site technical support and implemented innovative solutions for ceramic shell customers in regions including the Benelux, Scandinavia, Finland, Israel, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

As a recognized technical expert in ceramic shell applications, Carel has played a pivotal role in helping customers enhance their casting quality and production efficiency. He holds a Chemical Degree in Laboratory and Analysis Techniques from ROC Aventus Deventer in the Netherlands.Carel has 25 years of industry experience. Before joining R&R, he served as a Shell Room Team Leader, Chemical Analyst, and Quality Manager at an aerospace and defense foundry, where he specialized in casting steel and aluminum alloys using ceramic shell and solid block mold technology. His expertise also includes leading foundry conversion to achieve AS9100 and ISO14385 certifications.

In 2025 Carel was promoted to the role of Global Application Manager. In this new position, Carel will oversee the application of R&R’s advanced technologies globally.
